National holiday (Norwegian constitution Day) interrupted due to brother in law drunkenly falling over and injuring himself Dumb ****
She'll be in bed. She came home pissed last night, her school had had an inspection week and they'd been hard at it for three weeks getting ready for it. They all went out yesterday after it was done. She's a lightweight on the booze. Even though, she still wouldn't be interested in Eurovision anyway.
Just ate some pavement wasted, busted his face up Needed stitches. Was so drunk thought he was in for his ear ache
Up at silly o'clock again today for another event Missed the footie yesterday as I was working but great to see Palace win the FA cup
Missed a cracking game Ponks - you should watch it on 'Catch-up' or at least see try and see the highlights, if you haven't already ...
Just packed up from the event. ****in knackered now. But it’s been a good day and made a decent wedge
Morning Chief, Can you just bank transfer money on to these Monzo cards? Is it better to draw money from ATM’s with these cards when abroad or pay for goods using the Monzo card in-store? Any annual or monthly fee for having one of these cards? Cheers
I use Revolut which is similar, free to use and just transfer in what you want. Just use it like a normal card then and it's contactless of course or you can use the app and just tap your phone like normal. Really useful on holiday to transfer in what you want to spend so you can budget easily. You usually get some incentives to start with as well. I imagine Monza is the same @Chief
It's easy to transfer money between the banking apps. Piss easy actually, you just need your banking apps set up, the Monzo one and your personal account, whoever you use. I tend to just then use Monzo as cash, if you know what I mean. So generally am just using a card for all transactions, not cash. You still have the ability to take money from the Monzo account via an ATM, but tend to find that pretty much all ATM's abroad charge a fee to use anyway. Although Monzo won't charge as well.
Thanks lads, I think you both covered off any further questions that I had. Have either of you tried using the card on a plane or in an airport? One of my accounts is with Barclays and I’ve been embarrassed a couple of times with the card declining on the plane and in the airport. Apparently they add an extra layer of security and it’s quite common, not that I’m okay with that. I need to ring them about that actually, I keep forgetting.
