There will only be the happy clappers left as we’ll be 4-0 down after 60 minutes

I was a happy crapper before the match, good dump and a clean wipe, then came the skidmark football.

Thought Ross Stewart looked better today. Clearly lacking sharpness in last few appearances but getting back maybe. Him and Archer if fit, next season could be good.

I was thinking the same thing. I know the game was done but the two of them looked good together.

The highlight for me was archer busting a gut to get back and stop a certain goal

Well **** knows what it would take for Saints to win a game at this point if not even 3 threads is enough.
Maybe the final matchday thread of the season should reflect how many ****s the players give and we just don't have one...

Got bored on the train home and worked out my record this season when I’ve gone to watch Saints

    Attended 24

    Won 1
    Drawn 3
    Lost 20

    Scored 18
    Conceded 54

We only have 12pts and yet I’ve managed to miss half of them <laugh>

If Ross can avoid more injuries he will score goals. Looks like a capable play imo

We've gone down, but are there any nippers in the youth squad that would benefit from getting a season in the Championship? In our League One days, 2/3 of the way through L1, we had a championship quality team and 2/3 of the way through the championship we had a (low-end) Premiership quality team.

I've seen us get every point we've won this season <diva>

Which is a weird feeling to be honest. Can't see that ever happening again.

Today was my 14th (and obviously final) away game:

    One win
    Three draws
    Ten defeats

Five of those ten we didn't score. At least two of those we didn't have a shot target.

Roll on next season ffs. It will be worth it at least when I'm on my way to Wrexham and Pompey.

Definitely looks like he can be an asset next season if he stays fit. Looked sharp today.

Problem is that if is doing a huge amount of lifting.

My view is to plan for next season on the assumption that we'll be seeing very little of Stewart.

If that transpires to be wrong, then great - he'll essentially become an extra player for us; hopefully a very good one. And if it transpires to be correct, then we won't be any worse off because we'll have planned accordingly.

What I don't want to see if us build an attack in which we need him to play a big part, only to then lose him to injury on September 5th.

Surely even we're not stupid enough to do that.

Charly looked very genuinely moved when he came over to the fans after the match to a great reception.

Still can't believe Martin thought he wasn't worth a regular start in the championship.

I checked all three threads looks like they were all a 2-0 loss. What a shame we couldn't get a win on at least one them. Worst Saints side I can remember.

Sums up how **** they are that they conspired to have three 2-0 defeats in one afternoon
