You have to applaud the FA for getting the pricing right to ensure a sell out for each. Edit: Women Final tickets were £15 apparently. Cheapest for the men's was £75 but most much more of course.
Never had a problem with Everton,s fans. To stay passionately loyal when Liverpool are your neighbours must be hard work at times. Real supporters . Just locals who love their team for the right reasons and not the silverware.
The disparity in gate receipts is why there is a disparity in what the winners got and what the players get paid. And will remain so…
100 percent. Liverpool fans self call themselves the best fans in the world but have never suffered lower league status and abject failure for years. There are some small clubs out there who will never see much success at all but when the slightest bit comes know it feels so good. Ie Palace fans yesterday. Not a small club but the reaction to finally winning a trophy was priceless.
no see, im not interested in watching the womens fa cup final so i dont watch it i dont see the reason to have little pathetic snipes at it like you it really is sad
Can see why some on here like it. About as much atmosphere as the MKM with everyone sat down stuffing their faces.
Got to be honest, i went to a Liverpool game about fifteen years ago, with a mate who is a season ticket holder and whose father couldn't go. It was a not important game in the scheme of things, but the crowd was impressive in the volume and support. Didn't hear any negativity or criticism of players when they were losing - just pure support. I'd guess it's more like a football crowd was in the 1930s. Many Liverpool supporters were there early to create an atmosphere and chat with fellow long time seat holders and most stayed at the end to clap the team off. Whatever you think of them as a club, they've made the ground an extension of the supporters homes and many have close ties with fellow fans where they sit and whose families have had the same seats for generations now. City haven't treated season ticket holders any where near as well over the decades.
Scunny promoted to National League....Nice for some good news for that town, for a change. Well done Scunny...
Go to Anfield now and it's full of tourists, can't move outside for geeks taking photos of anything and everything. The views expressed in my posts are not necessarily mine.
Yeah I’m sure re all of your post. To be in their shadow must be hard work .I hold Everton’s fans quite highly for that reason. To be fair it’s the Hull reds that get under my skin more.
Just got back from Glanford park went with a mate of mine who lives there. The football was totally abysmal but glad for Scunny it’s been a long drop and they need to start getting back to league status . The best thing about the day meat pie , peas and gravy bloody lovely.
