I think this was discussed earlier. Something to do with the broadcaster as opposed to geography. Anyway Israel is a European colonialist project, everyone knows that.
I remember this I also remember the people against it. Unfortunately, you were right. Look at the state of the place and how many lives lost since and will continue to die directly and indirectly from this war. As long as the IDF didn’t take their home, the loss of the families life seems to be worth it…
Just looked at that Eurovision results. The people’s of Europe voted Israel No.1, including the UK who have now done it twice in a row for our Jewish friends. The judges made sure they didn’t get the gold medal. They still aren’t as hated as some would want you to believe.
Israel's entry was my preferred song (of all) musically... although the Austrian entry was vocally excellent, if you like that kind of thing ... ... and ours was also good vocally (thank **** we chose artists that can actually sing without needing electronic gadgetry to be in tune this time)... ... but for some reason I've found myself watching Finland's back more than any ...
The best thing about the JC was turning to the sports pages to see if I’d made the team of the week. Was a rare occurrence but what an honour.
Yahya Sinwar saw peace talks between Jerusalem and Riyadh as detrimental to the terror group May 18, 2025 12:22 One of the motivations behind Hamas’ deadly attack on October 7, 2023, was to torpedo efforts to normalise relations between Israel and Saudi-Arabia, according to minutes of a high-level meeting recovered by Israeli troops from a tunnel in Gaza. In the documents salvaged from a hidden Hamas tunnel in the Strip are minutes from a meeting on October 2, 2023, where the late Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar told senior commanders that only an “extraordinary act” would derail the fast‑evolving deal. “There is no doubt that the Saudi-Zionist normalisation agreement is progressing significantly,” he said. If a deal was brokered between Israeli and Saudi-Arabi, “most Arab and Muslim governments would line up behind it,” he warned, side-lining Hamas and its “resistance project”. https://www.thejc.com/news/israel/o...ck-israel-saudi-peace-documents-show-m0xf56fi The documents say the coordinated attack, in which around 6,000 terrorists stormed the southern border of Israel, killing 1,200 and taking 251 hostage, had been under preparation for two years.
So approximately 50 thousand Palestinians are dead and the rest have had their homes destroyed where they can never go back, all because Hamas didn’t want Israel and the Saudis to be friends… Scum bags.
Yup and as the article states, “most Arab and Muslim governments would line up behind it,” So the only people to blame for all this is Hamas.
Also blows away the claims we’ve seen on here from people when they say ‘what are they supposed to do when the Israelis take their land’ It had nothing to do with that, it was a straight up, politically motivated act of terrorism. Didn’t work out very well for them or their human shields.
was jut confirming to see if one of the reasons stated for why I don’t eat pig were true the 2nd to last time I checked
