Saturday plans for those not going to Wembley

For personal reasons I'm not going to the final. Ticket has gone to a friend of ours who's in the army, stationed on the south coast, who can only get to a very few games a season.

So for those not going, what are your plans?

We've got tables booked in Yates, which is our lucky pub to watch the lads.

 

I think I’m going to be playing cricket. Don’t think my nerves can stand another nail biter. If we win I can watch the highlights later.

 

I'm watching in the house, as everytime i go we get beat. Gave my ticket to my son for pizza trophy last time and we won. So same again, hopefully the same result

 

Play off final do you mean?

 

Town about 11 for some breakfast/early dinner then hope to be in early enough to get a good seat near a telly in whichever bar I end up in

 

Both, that and the Wycombe game. So I'll keep up the tradition

 

Mentioned elsewhere long drive South to Pitlochry, rely on phone updates like I did for the semi's.... that worked well, don't want to be driving after KO.

 

My mum is having surgery this week, so why myself and my dad aren’t going.

he said he’ll get a sky pass for the day.

 

My son and daughter in law are coming over so going kayaking on Coniston and having a bbq on the bank afterwards, nerves would be shredded if I watched it.

 

Meeting up with my old army buddies for our annual golf get together. No where flash, just outside of Chesterfield, home to one of the lads.

It's been booked for months and one of my mates has some health issues, potentially this could be his last one.

Saying that, teeing off at 1300 hrs Friday....same time Saturday and pulled back muscle at approximately hole 8.

 

I booked to go to Wales on a Camping hol with my lads back in Jan. Gutted, we go on Saturday aswell

 

Which part Tees?

 

If anyone is in Tenerife I aim to be in the Winchester at Costa Adeje.
If plans change I will update.

 

I’m still trying to locate a bar that’ll be showing it in Malcesine, Lake Garda.

If that fails I’m hoping ITVX are showing it.

Crown Casino in Perth. Watching it on the big screen in the sports bar there with Mrs Krankie and Able Seaman Krankie along with other local ex-pats.

 

ATM they just have highlights. At 9pm.

PoC decent for both if ya in Sunderland

 

Could be a shout, was going to try street bar we watched the Wycombe one there but think it’ll be full of younguns launching pints if(when) we score could do without that haha

 

The Stack or the Sheepfolds would be the best place for an atmosphere.
