I don't care what anyone says if you give Wilson opportunities he'll score goals. He's lost his pace, but he's more than capable of scoring goals. Obviously it's a blow not having idak, but he's been crap himself for a little while because of this injury. There's 11 vs 11 not 1 vs 11.
Ignoring the silly second sentence, you are actually correct with the first, Wilson did get into good positions and had a good shot well saved vs Brighton. Isak being rested? I dunno. Maybe one of those "got a knock in the warm up" things.
Hurts to have so many key players dropping though. Hall, Joelinton, Isak... Trippier on recent performances.
Absolutely, but the Wilson disrespect is way out of proportion. He's not exactly had many opportunities and he's a proven player. I wouldn't be surprised if he causes them problems.
I'd also like to wrap Isak up in cotton wool for Everton at home. Fingers crossed that's what's being done.
Isak's not looked that involved for a few games now. Wilson did get a couple of half chances last game as I remember, so he is an ok option. The concerns for me is Barnes on the right and Murphy at right back. If Wilson has a poor first half I hope that Eddie will give Osula a chance.
