I think you guys are being really unkind. They are a really honest bunch who work a long 20 hour week. Some of them are only on minimum Premier players wage.
You do know that most are playing **** because they want to stay on the south coast, live in the New Forest. Sail their yachts in the Solent and drive their sports cars on Hampshire roads. Some even have expensive partners to keep happy.

 

We actually went forward instead of passing to the sidelines immediately and almost scored. It's a little late to save the season, but I'd like to see more of it.

 

It’s like going to a crap restaurant who on the menu have signature dishes. They are still **** just less so

 

It’s almost as if the team has become angry at their own performance and have now decided to have a go, in the last 5 minutes of the game.

 

I’m not even angry anymore. I’m apathetic. I’ve checked in for short spells, feel like a neutral or casual fan. Sad really.

 

Rusk basically conceded the match when he set the team up with 5 at the back with Aribo playing a deep midfield role with Downes and no striker. No ambition or even attempting to cause Everton any problems at the back and they could just press and attack us at will in the first half. Better in the second half with the changes in formation and players but much too little too late as usual.

 

Well went better than I thought. Only 1 game to go

 

**** show. Everton in 1st gear and we couldn't be less interested for 80mins.

 

Another woeful performance comes to an end and next week won’t any better against Arsenal.
I expect we will line up again to concede few goals rather than score any.

 

That's what pisses me off the most. How apathetic I am to it all. Numb to the pain as it were

 

Well at least the news about another Sport Republic speculative gamble for manager should cheer us all up.

Yep, very similar. Never been so apathetic of this team, even club & I’ve been going since around late 60’s. Seen some ****e over the decades but this is “top notch” & SR / PL football has really turned me off. And to add, I think it’s because I just can’t see how, even if by a miracle we get promo next year, I can’t see a way forward.

 

Pretty easy for any opposition really. We’re asleep for the first 10 min, dose off again either side of the HT, game over, take a rest for another 35 min, score again probably, goal keeper has no need to change kit for the next match etc!!!

If I’m around I’ll be at SMS for the first match next season which may well determine if I spend anymore money for the next 18 games!!

 

First hour or so was as bad as almost anything served up this season. Improved after that but was basically a testimonial after goal number two. Shame our finishing was so poor.

Scenes before the game outside the ground were unbelievable. Never seen anything like it.

For us that's quite possibly our poorest away end all season. Sure that was partly down to them being so loud and the early goal. A lot of hangovers too presumably.

Disappointed at the lack of pitch invasion.

I hope the team get serious abuse after arsenal
