Id certainly understand if he needed a break… the article isn’t that clear (a shock for the Daily Fail)… but seems she’s past the worst bit…???… but even so…. Hell of a worst bit….
Russell Martin linked with WBA job but interesting to see John Mousinho at 6 /1. I think that the latter will get poached from Portsmouth within the next 12 months.
They both have risk attached, but Röhl feels less risky than Still. Keen to get cracking with whoever it is though. Won't be announced until after the Arsenal game though, I wouldn't think.

That is the reason now, yes. But he was happy and even pushing to join in January. So, if we had paid the cash then rather than wait, he would be our manager.
Word on the street is that he couldn't take another job for 6 months after we sacked him… so would fit time wise…. Just about… but baffles me that any club would look at what he produced and thinks it’s a progressive way forward….
Agreed… he probably would’ve been… it’s absolutely scandalous that we didn’t, however…. We have p*ssed away about three decent players worth of compensation on managers recently so, I can imagine moneys a bit tight in the compensation account… Let’s hope with Spors in charge, he loosens the purse strings or convinces Dragan to spend money where it’s needed….
Agreed. I'm not keen on Still, but if it is him then at least we have got him in early and with plenty of time to prepare for next season. Spors should be quite far along with identifying transfer targets too since we have known our fate and the type of manager we want for months.
Personally, I've always preferred Still to Rohl (whilst not being opposed to the latter), so happy days if this comes off.
