Plenty was put on the defender who ****ed up but not many players are there like Mayenda was to nick it and not many at this level would go around the keeper like he did! The pressure and that lad was cool as ya like, only just starting out in his a career and doing that man!

 

It’s because everyone hates us, for some strange reason.

 

Having watched the full 90 minutes again I have to say nerves got to us early on, Neil, Jobe and even Enzo gave the ball away far too cheaply and missed easy passes. But Coventry let our crowd really get to them for the first 30 minutes and I was hoping we'd score as I knew they'd have to attack us at some point, they had no other option.

Wembley will be a big test but these lads will have learned from the noise on Tuesday and will cope in my opinion.

 

I wonder if it would be forgotten and sportwashed to the "plucky underdogs" finally winning the cup the fans deserve if we got bought by a murderous, human right abusing regime with question marks how it was allowed through in the first place?

I missed this at the time, but this lads video shows what a big part the ball boy played in the build up to THAT corner.
You can see the Sunderland player running over to take a quick throw in, the ball boy was switched on and gave him a ball before he even got to the touchline. Coventry didn't get a chance to regroup.
Well done kid, you played your part.
