I can't imagine many are going to want to join a team that doesn't know who their manager will be, and until we have a manager, he can't instruct the brain team what he wants them to find. Meanwhile, free agents will be getting deals

I know we were turned down by Moore (stayed closer to home) and Cannon (offered perm when he wanted loan?), but i don't recall any other excuses for the people we didn't get. Maybe that was why?

I remember Asante changed his mind late on, and if memory serves there was a German DM and some fullback who took weeks to think about it

This is one of the things that bothers me most about the decision. How we can have a review of last season and conclude that what we need is to sack another manager and have all that upheaval again? It's absolutely ridiculous, and I think makes a total mockery of even calling it a review.
