Read the room, there was a leading candidate and now there are two. Emre is no longer in the frame. Not sure you can jump to the conclusion that it’s Muslic though.

will Hull City have sacked their coach who avoided relegation and then look to appoint their new head coach from among the people who managed the clubs who were relegated?

Hadn’t considered him but I’ve had a suspicion it’s been Muslic all along. Baz has pushed his availability before Ruben had even been given the bullet.

Well he actually got a tune out of those Plymouth players and got them performing which is more than Selles managed here.

But it would seem a bit of a pointless side step.

They were certainly humming when we smacked them 2-0, not managing a shot for 70 mins.

Hardly the same bunch was it. We signed half a team in Jan. Everyone is entitled to their opinion on both managers but to suggest it was the same bunch is pushing it.

Amrabat, Crooks and Joseph would have been a much better fit for Tim than Simons, Bedia and Burstow.

I understand why people didn't like him, I've said before his refusal to change tactics until he could get the right people in was daft on his part as it cost him his job, but comparing their performance based on squad is a bit disjointed when you consider the players that came in after he had gone. Ironically they were probably better for Tim than Selles style of play.

Why would you sack the manager that kept us up and replace him with one of the managers that went down? Im not saying Muslic did a bad job but its hardly an improvement is it.

I reckon belloumi and millar were pretty handy players for Dim Tim.

Crooks certainly wouldn’t have had the fitness to keep up with Walter’s style of play.

In the 2 or 3 games they played they were. Including the excellent win at QPR. Not sure that silly reply was quite the victory you thought it was Derek.

Maybe not but in any style he is no more than an impact player now.

So, wait, he wouldn’t have drastically improved the squad either way under either manager?

He has got an hour in him for any manager. I just don't feel he is a 'play for a draw' kind of midfielder.
