Over 3,000 season tickets sold so far for next season. Not bad in the circumstances. No manager, and player exodus likely. I wonder how many we had sold in the first week last season?
I'd just like to see us scoring more goals at the CCS than the opposition of the day rather than just match them for a point. That obviously means going on to win games, but there were so many silly points thrown away last season which effectively put us where we are right now. A winning mentality lifts the mood in the stands and it's infectious - dropping 2 points needlessly also drops the morale on and off the pitch. I'll take having to battle for the win if we can't overcome the opposition with football skill, but it would be nice if we could achieve results with a bit of both. Can a new dynamic kid on the block achieve that at the club with radical change or does it call for a steady hand to get the best out of what we've got? I personally think we could do with a complete shake up and go for broke or we'll be at best treading water - maybe even League 2 bound?.............
I agree with the main views of your post Sparks but cannot countenance the final few words. I can only assume you are taking the p***. Again. Probably not though....
Not a step in the right direction, but a little shuffle. If only in the short term. Dalman saying he recognising the need for footballing experience, but needs to convince Tan. https://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/cardiff-city-hire-ex-man-31625074
Why would Tan need convincing? He has to trust the judgment of the people delegated to source the appropriate people to run the football side. Dalman states they’ve got to get the appointment right but he said that for all the other managers he recommended to Tan for approval. Dalman (and Choo) should distance themselves from this appointment as they have got it wrong before.
I just bumped into Aaron Ramsey on Rumney Hill. Had a selfie with him and Mrs Irish. Very polite young man. I did ask him if he was going for the job but he said we’ll have to wait and see. I told him he was sitting on the fence. He just smiled.
BFB once tried to slide a fence post up Masky’s ar#e in Pontcanna, but Masky fought off his advances and in fact didn’t take offence!
Better quality lube may help. I'm sure Masky can recommend some good brands. Or just Vasoline. Not Deep Heat though.
More lazy journalism by Glen taken from another site https://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/tony-pulis-makes-feelings-clear-31628522
Michael Beale in the frame for the job, was 5 minutes at Qpr then sunderland 12 games and top it all rangers,i hope they dont touch him with a barge pole or even a fence post.
I read in Wales online that Tan’s other club in Belgium last season appointed a DOF but that failed as they got relegated but they have now appointed a new DOF. To me that says they are as inept as appointing a manager as they are a DOF. What is equally bizarre is Choo stating about the Belgian club What does this say about Cardiff? To me it reads they are content to run a club without anybody with football knowledge aside the Manager.
I think you may be in error.......my conclusion is that Choo etc feel that they already have the football knowledge!!!
