Watched the episode where the Mackem term was explained. The other lad he was with was from Durham. I worked with him at Joondalup. I’m quite enjoying the series tbh. From what I understand all the new cops are still here bar the one I know pulled the pin in episode three. Mind you the Scottish lass comes across as a bit depressing!
First episode of the new series of Black Mirror is a belter. Brutal and very much on point but entertaining.
Couldn't stand how she kept breaking the third wall and talking to the audience. Didn't work for a police drama for me, made it seem a comedy but don't think it was?
Mobland has been fantastic, just 1 more episode left I think. Tom Hardy is my man crush, I love him. It’s weird to see Helen Mirren swear like she does in it, she doesn’t hold back.
I liked her in the missing and tend to like police dramas so thought it would be for me. Couldn't get away with the talking to the audience bit. Speaking of police Dramas Broadchurch is excellent, Olivia Coleman and David Tennant are great talents and Jodie Whittaker come to think of it.
I said the missing, I meant unforgotten. It was good. Think I watched up until the season with Neil Morrisey. Just started watching Grace on ITV X, that's decent.
Just started watching the latest Bosch, not doing anything for me at the moment ( ep 4 ) Maybe get better?
started to rewatch shows from my childhood/teen years. like Xmen 97 on Disney Batman the cartoon tv series Gargoyles and Smallville. coz its hard to find decent new shows, as they are either on sky or a streaming platform I dont use.
For some reason, I didn't fancy it before even putting a episode on. Had a feeling it would be a let down!
Watched the rest of "the last of us" season 2. They knocked up the run in like. But I'll not post any spoilers.
Some of the older ones on here will remember Whatever Happened To The Likely Lads. All the episodes are on YouTube and I’ve been bingeing them the last couple of days. Still funny.
