I think most of the fan noise about the Selles sacking is more to do with those still aggrieved with the Rosenior sacking. I thought Selles was OK but his football was very underwhelming. Would a preseason and a decent striker signing have deliveed something higher than a mid-table position. Personally I don’t see it. Some on here fantasise about a mid-table position finish. Clearly the owner has higher ambitions than that despite not been able to find the right ingredients to deliver that yet.
