Well, Kalman, you have been proven correct... Hopefully the new manager is in place soon, with a summer signings plan that logically follows what was missing last season. Looking forward to City getting inevitably thrashed by Selles' Norwich etc next season.
It’s been quite amusing this week seeing all the reactionary, over the top outbursts about Selles being binned off. In truth, Ruben’s football was dire with questionable tactics and decision making along the way, particularly in the closing weeks of the season. We can count ourselves very fortunate to be a Championship club next season. It wasn’t exactly “a great escape” as I’ve seen many touting. Yes we had one or two pleasantly surpising results along the way, but overall still piss poor. Bold by Acun to wield the axe on another manager but I do get his thinking behind it.
For the record, I don’t want Acun to die. Instead, I’d rather him sit and listen to a packed MKM Stadium chant ‘we want Acun out’ on a chilly November night before he runs back to Turkey with his tail between his legs, where another group of supporters from his boyhood club hate him just as much, before he fades into obscurity with his legacy and reputation in tatters and seen as a laughingstock by the other Turkish oligarchs. There might even be a Turkish proverb that is passed down the ages that roughly translates to ‘doing an Acun’ as a warning to future generations.
That's a misconception, actually he doesn't change wife that often, in many cases he kept his wife and continued with multiple mistresses in public appearances, until one of the mistresses turned into a new wife. His 3rd born child from 3rd wife was in 2013, and he was married to second wife until 2016.
Selles definitely wasn’t the man to get this upset about we was ****e still, I’d have kept him but he wasn’t untouchable
****ing hell,he's had more women than shagger!!! Now there's a thought, how are we in the goalkeeper coaching dept at the moment?
Right. Enough of this because let’s draw the line under the sand for this tripe. Was Selles perfect? No. Did he have flaws and make mistakes in the run in? Yes. Did he also play a part in keeping us up? Yes (I know Peter will ****ing argue that but as per my previous Rosenior argument. It’s a team game and the manager has a play in keeping us up) The reason everyone’s getting so ****ing uppity is because it’s literally history repeating itself in front of our eyes. We sacked a manager who finished 7th and we’ve massively regressed. We follow that trend again and we are down. Genuinely tell me outside of parachute clubs the last team to appoint a manager start of the season and they go up? You’ll say “oh it’s not about going up this year” yes it ****ing is. This owner has no patience and has already trotted out the “playing style” bollocks once again. If we finish anything outside of promotion again next year I would wager the poor sap that takes this job will be gone again. It’s not Selles. It’s the lunatic paying the cheques
