Losing is always a failure. Failing to get promoted is an abject failure. Real winners are those who won't accept anything but success. Without that mentality, you will always be set up to fail. As for tonight, we will win by the odd goal, scored by my man Matty.
Got the stream for the game, we were the better team for the last ten minutes, but Wycombe are a poor mans version of the old Wimbledon team. Whoever gets the first goal wins the game, although I fear that Wycombe's game plan may take their chances on penalties.
I understand we won My Sky box chose to pack it in half an hour ago. Of all the times Only just got it working again. They are useless cnuts. Only good at taking my money...
Just when I wanted to keep in touch with what was going on. Had to unplug it (several times) and wait for it to boot up again. Rather spoiled the mood. I really wouldn't have minded knowing the result when it happened - not 15 minutes later after a whole lot of mucking about. Still, it's the result that matters. Good luck to everyone trying to get Wembley tickets over the next few days
Apparently there is a big outage at Sky. Their broadband internet is still working (I'm using that now) but their TV services are on the fritz. I can't even sign into their website to complain. Sorry for dragging the thread off-topic.
Armchair neutrals can moan all they like about the quality. If they don't like it they can stop paying money to Sky. We deserve to be at Wembley, and the game will be a sellout.
Jones was immense today and my man of the match. honourable mentions to small and Docherty. Best I’ve seen the skipper play
The back 3 were magnificent. Mannion had hardly anything to do. Grimmer had TC in his pocket which limited our options going forward, but with our back line one goal is enough, and with Sniffer Dog up front we're going to get it. Coventry showed why he is players' POTY. Just before the goal NJ had been hollering at LJ to get up the pitch. He did, which caused chaos, and Sniffer Dog took advantage. How's that for a stroke of managerial genius?
I also thought Gilbert had a very good game, haven't taken to him much but he's defo got something about him that we don't have and seems capable of playing through balls along the floor which we lack
