Question.... new manager whoever it is comes in and by Christmas we are riding high (lets hope)... will Acun be the clown then or will the response be Selles would have done that anyway...?

I don't have a membership,it wouldn't benefit me(that may change when I hit 65).I pay on the day and I'll be back,although it's been hard to watch this last couple of seasons.

It'll take more than Coco to drive me away from something I've supported and followed for 56 years but hopefully he ****s off and takes his Turkish flag(folded and tucked up his colon) with him

 

I was waiting until the new season to explain this, but now that he's gone it's as good a time as ever.

When Rubén said that he wanted to play vertical football he meant that his style of play was going to focus on beating 2 blocks of the opposition at a time. So this meant having his ball carrier playing a ball behind the midfield (skipping both the forward and midfield blocks in a single touch). This is different to direct football that wants to beat all 3 blocks with a single long ball.

All the best Rubén, think this is also a hasty decision to make. See what comes of it.

I can’t understand fans who get so attached to a particular manager they’ll stop going just because they’ve gone. I understand this is more about a lack of stability rather than Selles per se, but even so I find it bizarre.

Managers come and go, as do owners.

What next? Come back if the new manager starts winning?…

 

So from the podcast it sounds like the shortlist has Alex Neil, Muslic, Gary O'Neil, Dean Smith and Rob Edwards on it
I would be happy with Neil or O'Neil. Muslic still feels a bit punty, although we would no doubt bring in Hardie and Bundu if he joined
