There seems to be some confusion among some of my mates ? Is the conformation received from ticket master mean that it is on your season card just like the semi final ? Or will they send you an email with the ticket for you to put in your wallet then use it ????? CHEERS
Not giving us a kick off time, whilst selling tickets, given that both sets of fans are c.200-300 miles away from Wembley,is a complete disgrace! EFL should hang their heads in collective shame.
Our final against Wycombe was a Saturday at 3pm and sky didn't have a problem showing it. Ultimately Kick off time matters nothing to me personally as I am staying about an hour away on the Friday and driving back up on the Saturday after the game whatever the time but would be nice to know. If its a 15:00 or 17:30 I will probably pop into the Argyll to meet some of you lovely guys if it's a 12:30 I will just be heading straight to the ground.
I think you're right actually, guess thats rules out another possible reason for this kick off time farce! The rule prevents matches being shown on domestic television on Saturdays between 2.45pm and 5.15pm. The blackout can only be enacted when 50 per cent of fixtures in the top two divisions kick off at 3pm. This includes Premier League, Football League and FA Cup matches, but also matches in top international leagues such as La Liga and Serie A.
Ridiculous the time that took. Hopefully not many from both sets of fans have been negatively impacted. Club probably had an idea and tried to hint at it as they did have 3pm on the tickets on safc. Just needed it confirming.
Champion, made up with that. I'm at a gig with the Mrs on the Saturday night, so will be able to watch before we go. Tbf to her, she did say we could give it a miss if it was a later kick off. I was reluctant to do that as she never gets out and it's something she was looking forward to. This gig could now be absolute ****e, or the best gig I've ever been to!!
