All of the managers we were linked to had a link to Dublin - Robins I believe. Jokanovic, Neil and Selles had all worked with him before.

The ITK crowd here said at the time Acun wasn’t driving the decision making process then in the same way he had previously.

 

Selles worked with some bang average players and some crippling injuries to key players early doors yet still saved the club from potentially huge problems at Pompey . In the eyes of the Big Turk we survived on goal average on the last game of the season where another goal against us would have been curtains with b. The supporters would have without doubt imploded if we’d gone down and that’s the reason Acun has almost certainly spun the wheel of fortune yet again.
