Ahh so it's bollocks then? Under a million quid is laughable.

Might struggle to sign Esse, not to put a dampener on it.

I think most of them would be a stretch. Can imagine Hamer and Sargent have plenty of interest as well.

    Peanuts

Would have been perfect as well - a Romain(e) on each wing.

I think clubs go wrong by signing too many players that they focus far too much on quantity over quality. Id rather focus on 6 quality signings than trying to bring loads in

I agree this summer is going to be so exciting no matter what league we are in

Seriously though if we do go up and still have to sell Jobe (if his family don't want him in the PL), then I'd be all over Hamer as his replacement. We'd have money to spare as well.

I'm in the same boat, maybe 5/6 players to come in and start and then just a bit more quality depth.

Hamer would be a class signing if we go up, there's not many in the championship I'd want but he is definitely the exception

Maybe rather replace Rigg/move Rigg deeper, lose a lot defensively and physically going from Jobe to Hamer.

I'd like a full overhaul of the defence if possible, at least in the depth, got a load of players that have missed a lot of games due to injury

saw a leeds fan say he was poor on the two legs

i dont know how people can be so blind

hes firstly out of position and secondly the team tookk a rather defensive approach so youre not going to see much flair

despite that he played the killer pass in the first leg and had the quality to put in a corner like that when knackered

additionally you can see hes a baller, touches are immaculate and is massively playing below his level, most of his touches immediately opened him up into space.

hes easy a prem/top 5 euro league player, has no business in the championship and were lucky to have him

get him central and let him run it at wembley

if enzo is a 20m player, go buy 5/6 of them

insane value if you look for it, ipswich paid 17 for clarke, we could payu a fraction more for enzo, but sentiment aside and be real, what a deal

I agree Isidor and Mayenda are great options both still developing and I have no doubt both will play PL football

I want a big unit striker to go with them

A lot of opposition fans have said he’s been poor to be fair, regularly seen it on social media. Clearly due to being wasted out on the left imo. Doesn’t have the pace to beat his man 1v1 and when you’re on the wing if you can’t beat your man on the outside you have to come back inside so everything is very predictable. Simply has to play in the middle in the final for me he looked a different player as soon as he came inside. Great on the turn in tight spaces and doesn’t make his next move predictable like it is out wide

This makes me think of 6ft 2in striker Elias Sorensen (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elias_Sørensen).

2023-24, Esbjerg, Danish 2nd division, 32 games and 27 goals.

Signs for Portsmouth in August 2024 and manages 13 appearances and 1 goal before being sold for a loss to a Norwegian club in the winter window.

Not saying players can't come from there and succeed but this example is food for thought.
