They're precisely what Vlad Ivic said about his time at Maccabi Tel Aviv, and we're actually true. Then he came here...
Agree and a lack of pace on and off the ball didn’t help - particularly when Baah was out . We seemed slow and ponderous at times wanting too many touches and not fluid enough .
Yes he is making all the right noises, but what else is he supposed to say. The Pozzos are going for a record - only another nine to go and we will have had more managers under them than in our entire history before they arrived. One day I might be able to contribute to a thread called ''New Owners'' and that day cannot come quickly enough for me. At least the new manager fits well with most of the players - ie. had to look on a map to find out where Watford is before coming here. True to form a manager who has spent his entire life in a Spanish speaking environment and is venturing north of the Pyrenees for the first time - after a year of getting used to crap weather and crap food and having to visit places like Blackburn on a tuesday night (and all the other culture shocks awaiting him) he will be off back to the sun with a better bank balance. How the Pozzos entice people is unknown to me. Years ago I looked on the Werder Bremen fans forum to find out what they were saying about Seb Prödl - apparently he had said his goodbyes with lots of tears but with the assurance that he would be playing at a famous stadium in London in future.
Well he did play at Wembley I think.. This new guy won’t even get much of a pay off but be funny if Pozzo did want to keep him after the year and PP said no !
