If true and if he is replaced by some Turkish mate of Acun's or some other comedy appointment like Wally, I will definitely be in Kalman's Acun Out corner.
Completely agree, that was a pivotal game and he absolutely browned it. A lot of people seem to look past that.
We're never going to stick with any manager if we're looking for one who never loses a home game, or who never makes his substitutions late. It's utterly ridiculous to be writing managers off on the basis of single matches, particularly when we should've learned this exact lesson from the events of the past year.
Not a single match though was it, in the run in we were awful and probably got more points than performances warranted. Like it or not, when it mattered most against the teams around us, we stunk the place out.
It's a joke decision by a club/owner which seems determined to show that it's not learned any of the lessons we needed to learn from this season. Just continuing to scapegoat managers and spend the early part of every summer scrambling around for a replacement. The fact we've waited 12 days from the season ending to come to this decision is the icing on the shambles cake.
He literally kept us up which was his job. He only managed 12th in the table form, rather than 5th in the table form, what a ****, sack him blah blah blah
The point stands even if you extend it a bit. We're never going to stick with any manager if we're expecting one who never has a poor run of form. Just completely ridiculous, juvenile expectations.
What the **** have they been waiting so long for, if they don't have a replacement lined up???? No wonder everything takes so ****ing long to happen, decisions only get made when Acun isn't doing one of the 1000 other things he's got going on. Another summer of chaos awaits.
I wonder how much say Dublin, Dokes (does he watch us?) and Hodge (wasn't even here last season) had in this decision which just stinks. And I wonder how much the 4 of them know about coaching a team to avoid relegation when your employers have failed miserably to deliver you a striker. They should hang their heads in shame, the lot of them. Not only a bad decision in my opinion, but one which says a lot about our owner's honesty.
that it's taken 12 days post season to sack him i wouldnt be surprised if they tried to talk acun out of it which is why the sacking took so long acun then thinks im the boss, i do what i want
It's utterly ridiculous to expect that changing manager every six months and changing your attack every six months will result in the football you want. It's utterly ridiculous to sack a manager when the overwhelming majority of your supporters want the manager to stay. It's utterly ridiculous to sack a manager who came in with you rock bottom and had the 12th best points return from that point. I don't give a **** if we struggled for wins over the last few games, we comfortably beat Sheff U, drew 3-3 with Leeds and beat Sunderland. Its utterly ridiculous to not have someone lined up. Yet here we are.
