I always liked Simon Jordan except for the bit "last time they played." The gulf was there in January 2024 when we trounced them in the cup. Their squad is roughly the same whereas we are better. Far, far better. We'll strengthen in the summer and the players will be up for the derbies. Desire is nonsense when a team with quality has it in abundance.

Was having a snoop on their page earlier and they were talking about one or two of the Coventry lads, and some other "no hopers", coming in to improve their squad - one specifically caught my eye - Jack Rudoni - watched him a lot at AFC Wimbledon when he was a bit younger (19/20), good player when I was watching him in League One but there's no way he is ready for the EPL yet having watched him a little this season. If that's the caliber they are hoping for to improve their squad... I hope they get promoted, they'll take Derby's title of lowest ever points...
Rudoni was abysmal last night. No final ball or finish in him. I hope they go for that type of player because they will get destroyed against world class players. Imagine Rudoni against our midfield as an example. They don't seem to realise that their side is full of league standard players nevermind championship. Luke O'Nien a prime example. He will get murdered by PL strikers and his "antics" will be punished by VAR. As for that Enzo Le Fee - He's dog ****. Add to that the likes of Isidor and Mundell. Against top PL defenders they will hardly get a sniff. Chris Rigg is the only player in their squad capable of playing at a higher level and he'll be snapped up quickly.
