The Watford Observer understands that Gilligan has decided to leave Watford of his own accord, and will be taking up a job offer in Saudi Arabia. The Hornets are believed to have wanted to keep him, but the financial package in the new role was one they couldn’t match.
Can't say that I blame him. In his sixties, it's unlikely he would attract too many well-paid job offers. There's nothing like giving your pension a big boost.
Nah. It's saudi, innit! That said I once considered working there but thankfully gave my head a wobble!
Last seen flopping at Swansea . Sounds like bad news . https://x.com/DarrenOWitcoop/status/1922682187893150081
Its an Italian tradition though - can't risk breaking them unless you want a horse's head on your pillow.
