Given the 18 months of imminent starvation and worst genocide ever I’m probably taking it. I doubt any country has ever or will ever have such high standards placed upon it to care for people who have chosen to both attack them and keep hostages for 19 months and counting. They can get in the sea but I’d settle for Egypt.

There's an international humanitarian law on making sure aid gets to people affected by war, but Israel want to control this so that they can displace people from the north again in a pretext to permanent annexation.

... only most of the people suffering didn't choose to attack Israel ... in marked contrast and against numerous generally accepted UN conventions and articles of war, Israel has chosen to attack civilians using flimsy excuses to attempt to circumvent those conventions and practices, whilst doing its utmost to prevent the wider world from getting to see exactly what is happening ...

Can only hope that those directly responsible for the unnecessary carnage and suffering being caused to Gazan civilians are made accountable by the UN/ wider world at some point ...

Nope ... my sympathy for any lettuces, smug or not, would be on a par with that for the parsnips, should those lettuces seek to exterminate / ethically cleanse civilian parsnips from their own allotment ... and I'd push for a two can or even mixed veg solution ... because I'm not an entrenched (other planting borders are available) self-centred bigoted little **** who thinks 'my people' are any more deserving of water and sunlight than other veg....

 

This is a very easy stance to pretend to have when it’s not you. If you had a choice of saving someone you cared about or a complete stranger you aren’t thinking twice about it. The two state solution has worked famously in India/Pakistan. All problems solved in Kumbayaland with the two state solution.
