Over 2 legs we had the better chances than Coventry did. I know they had a lot more of the ball and controlled the midfield but putting the ball in the back of the net is what matters. We scored more and not only that, we had better opportunities.

There are many times this season when teams have sat in against us and we've not got the result we wanted. The usual criticism from our fans is that we couldn't break them down, didn't create enough and didn't deserve to win. Well tonight, that's Coventry.

That was awful mind, but also amazing. We were poor. Then Mundle came on and the Elf went central and we were given magic stars and came to life and all was happy ever after. Well lads were did it! Sat in a traffic jam heading to the A19, don't think I've ever been this drained at a match since the Charlton playoff final.

 

reet, sensible heed on...

two very hard games to watch playing that way, the lads have improved in defence but it is very hard to take being the 'submissive' team, we got some nice little moves going but we seemed to feck every final pass up which made it even more frustrating.

...but, these lads have proved that they can do it, some top class defensive work and some very good counter attack football, there is work to be done of course but these lads keep stepping up and proving us wrong.
