Well, I’ve had a bit to drink and I don’t look at the TV news very often but the ITV news at ten seems to be entirely editorial and opinion based rather than factual news reporting. Is it always like this? I don’t necessarily disagree with the opinions being promoted but 90% of what I have seen is not today’s news, it’s pre filmed stuff which could have been shown at any time this week. Or next week. So far only Gerard Depardieu’s conviction and Scotland voting for assisted dying is today’s news and the main presenter has visibly lost interest now it’s not about some shared opinion he and Robert Peston have.
I'm watching BBC News with a Jeremy Bowen piece about Israel's blockade of Gaza. They're basically saving on bombs by just starving the occupants to death instead.
Nice of the Qataris to give Trump a plane worth $400m. They won't want anything in return, I'm sure. Trump is allowed to accept the gift on condition that the plane’s ownership be transferred to Trump’s presidential library after he's finished using it as Air Force One. Every library needs a luxury jet, after all.
Every wet is a war crimes expert when it comes to Israel. Imminent starvation for 18 months. I’ll play a song on my tiny violin for them and you.
A brave Zionist ****er. You should go to your 'homeland' and sign up. You might get to be the lucky bastard that gets to press the button on another remote hospital bombing.
Nearly got the Eurovision win which would’ve created some phenomenal online tantrums (still some great ones) and the organisers having panic attacks. 12 points from the UK though- thanks guys x
Romania's centrist Bucharest mayor, Nicusor Dan, won the country’s presidential election on Sunday in a shock upset over a hard-right, nationalist rival inspired by Donald Trump. This comes after elections in Canada and Australia, which a year ago had been expected to be won comfortably by right wing parties, were actually won by anti-Trump centre-left parties. It seems to me that people are looking at what's happening in the US and saying '**** that'.
What, to you, does the 86 mean in this context? I know 47 is the 48th and current president. I know the historical context of to 86 is to ‘nix’ or refuse to serve a customer.
I had to look it up, but it apparently means to 'kick out'. What does 8647 mean? The ‘code’ that landed James Comey in hot water with the Secret Service | The Independent It seems to me that it represents a growing anti-Trump movement in the US and I'm happy to spread it a little wider. Of course, the precious MAGAs choose to see it as threat to assassinate him.
