Of course being top scorer at Spurs is harder than at Man Utd. They never had to follow the great Jimmy Greaves who outscored Sir Bobby despite being at his club for 8 years less than Sir Bobby was.
Just read this in an article about our 'one season wonder' For Kane needs to keep having targets set for him to reach and records to break. He has scored as many hat-tricks in his career as Wayne Rooney and he's only 23. His 29 goals are two more than the whole Middlesbrough team mustered this season and his 20 goals in the league in 2017 are just four fewer than the entire Manchester United side.
I think everyone here is pleased for Kane (and Dier) but imagine the disappointment that they feel as they miss out on a mighty Europa League runners up medal.
Not all will agree but Kane winning a Europa with Spurs this season would have been more impressive than the title with Bayern.
I'm not sure. If we do win the Europa...who have we beaten who is actually impressive? Don't get me wrong I'd love to win a trophy and especially a European one, but the two domestic cups are now harder to win than the EL imo. The only ways in which it is harder is in the number of fixtures and distances to travel.
I agree but Bayern winning their league is almost a given so as pleased as I am for him, it’s not really a big achievement
Having seen Greaves and Kane in their pomp ,it his hard to compare , they had different circumstances, Greaves had to compete with terrible pitches, heavier footballs and defenders that had carte blanch to put you in row Z of the stands , Kane on the other hand has had VAR, and more intensive offside rules ,faster, fitter defenders , Kane is not only a number 9 he was our best attacking midfielder and at times our best defender , Greaves is my all time Spurs great but kane a more complete player
