Guess we’d be looking around the £40 million mark as will still have 4 years on his contract. Was really hoping that we could possibly keep him and build around him this season but if clubs with European football on offer come in, that sadly is unlikely to happen. Should wait to see what they get for Gibbs White, then rinse them.
We got £40m for Livramento when he was just returning from a major injury. Surely Fernandes is worth more.
I highly doubt Forest will be the only team interested too. SR will wait, like they did with Lavia and JWP, and get the best possible deal.
Sad to say it but Forest would probably be a good move for him. Good team but not at that level where he'd just rot on the bench.
