I saw something the other day and made me think of you. How many PL owners do you think own/are invested in multiple clubs and do the multi club model? I was surprised by the answer
I was reading BBC this morning and saw forest was one (I had no idea) so I'm going to guess 4 including us?
Don’t know the actual number but it’s a lot more than 4, I’d guess over half the league off the top of my head: Bournemouth Everton Saints Brighton Palace Forest City Chelsea Man Utd Ipswich Might look at the other 10 teams and see if they are as well.
Looked at the others and you can add to the list: Villa Brentford Arsenal Newcastle Leicester Only clubs who aren’t seem to be Liverpool, Fulham, Wolves and Spurs (Spurs used to have investments in 5 other teams but don’t appear to anymore). One of West Ham’s owners owns a Czech club as well so not sure if they count or not as they have 3 owners and the other two are only involved in West Ham But yeah just surprised me at how common it is now, 75% of the league is owned by owners who also have major interests in other teams
Hypothetically speaking? I would imagine it's a bit like having multiple wives. You go in thinking you can pick the best of the best whenever you want to and in the background everything just works but it reality you are never going to get any good times as you are spending all your time firefighting the fact you can't give enough support to one of them let alone several and eventually everyone resents you for it.... Hypothetically speaking only mind you. I took 20 years to marry my 1 wife and still upset her on a regular basis so not really the authority on wives.
