Moore bullied the defence there, McCrorie never had a chance against him. The mad thing is, we’ve had some good opportunities tonight, more than last week. We need to sign players in the summer to exploit the half opportunities, right now we do not.

Get real RR, how do you get rid of and replace all those players and expect any continuity. The play-offs have been a disappointment, no doubt about that, but, none of us thought we’d be top 6 back in August. It’s progress, something that’s been totally absent since 2017-19, lets take it and build, not just complain about everything and everyone.
2 fantastic blocks from Vyner but this is now embarrassing.....another 1 since writing this. Pass pass pass and end up going nowhere/backwards. Sky love telling us record loss in the playoffs. Had enough.
Hate Sky telling us we were 22 points worse off and that it showed tonight. Where is the context.....we have virtually a zero chance of promotion because of the sodding unfair parachute money. It's never a level playing field.
We did well ending up in the position that we did. Best season we've had since GJ. Well done Liam.. It goes without saying that we need better players to play his system if we want to go the next step. IMO we've had a good season and I'm ignoring all the negativity that's been spouted out.
Top 6 side well happy with that, well done LM and the boys, a successful season, no doubt about it, progress made, onward with the next big step.
steve L was in the stands tonight watching the game he can hopefully see what is required to jump to the next level.Sky cameras stayed on him for a while he looked deep in thought. please log in to view this image
I have to admit that reaching the play-offs this season was not expected by yours truly but I'm not too sure we deserved to get there based on performances alone. We made too many bad mistakes that cost us dearly throughout the season and most of those were made by a small group of players who are on most of today's posters comments regarding players to move on from City. All through the season I never truly thought that I was watching a team that could reach the Premiership because there isn't barely enough good players to form the foundation of a challenger and if we show up in the next campaign with most of the deadwood still hhere then we could struggle badly. I so want my team to get to the top but I fear the infrastructure and policies (whatever they are) tend to favour a more nodding dog situation within the dark halls. Hire a good manager who brings in good players who can perform at the top of their game each and every time is the key but we seem to want to waffle around doing nothing and expecting miracles. Will Liam stay or has he seen enough of the lack of true and honest commitment from management to move himself elsewhere to enter a more positive environment? We just aren't good enough to be perennial contenders as it seems we can't attract decent players to come here or their salaries are just out of our reach for Lansdown. When you look at the lesser lights in the Premiership competing with small crowds and less well known players I constantly ask as to why we never seem able to compete with those clubs in our overall progress. Answer- apathy and the apparent disbelief that we deserve the same success.
Managed to see some of the game on the BBC in the middle of the Mediterranean yesterday evening Had Twine taken the half chance early on we might have had more of a say No complaints overall, the best team with Premiership parachute payments won and were way too strong for us over the 2 games Really amazing achievement from LM and all the players this season, as we should have just been also rans so total credit where it’s due But now there is the inevitable expectation to repeat it again next time, or go one better, so Lansdown, get your hand in your pocket please and get us the 3 or 4 quality players we need to be able to compete with the likes of Leicester and Southampton in 25/26 otherwise there will be discontent
left BS4's Sandringham at 11am yesterday in Rotherham pubs by 3PM for four hours of pre match warm up before on to Bramall lane. Looking at how O'leary was waving at crosses and falling around the box he was on the gold and natch as well!!!
