We were good first half. Not so good in the second half. We made hard work of it in the second half but performances count for absolutely nothing at this stage of the season, it's all about results. TBF, some on here weren't expecting us to beat Chelsea.
I mean, it would be the funniest thing to happen all season. All we need is massively dodgy decision to go our way for the win, and i think we could see Cpt Black try to attack someone or break down and cry like a bitch.
They ain't great right now, 1 win and 6 points from the last 6 games. Coupled with Arteta losing the plot in interviews, it's a perfect time to play them really. I'm sure we'll beat Everton and get top 4, but this game coming up could potentially be our biggest league game this season if it means we get 2nd.
Trippier and Willock are TBC, may be available, if Joelinton can be fit for the last 2 games with the injections, just juice him up and let him recover in the summer. Botman wasn't injured, just precaution to not push him too hard in his first start in ages. Just make sure Gordon starts this one, he always rips into Arsenal.
Apparently Rice, Trossard, Havertz and Jorginho have all been back in training this week and the first two are likely fit to start. Meanwhile Botman, being made of the finest of spun glass, hasn't been able to train this week and is due to have another scan on his knee as the injury looks to have returned yet again. Quality though he is when fit, we should probably be thinking about signing a new starting LCB to go with the RCB we're already after.
We've really ****ed that kids career up when he kept getting played through injury early on last season. No idea who's to blame, we'll never know, but somebody definitely screwed up.
Yeah, it's set up to be a bit of a battering and send us into a last day shoot out with us, Chelsea and Villa all on 66 points.
Match officials allowing, I'd say we have a chance of a point or maybe three if we play to our maximum. One of those games where every player gives 110%... I'd be more confident if Botman and Joelinton were fit to start.
