We basically didn't bother coming out after ht.

We put them to the sword first half then clearly the dressing room attitude sucked.

You want the senior players driving that not just coaches. They dropped their standards completely and you want that balled out.

Again as I said before chelsea all of these games are a big test for slot and how he rules the roost

Can't understand how Nunez didn't go for that with his head

    Ah well.

That's a third title for arteta then.

He's won 3 in a row now, and two cls

It was the fa cups he won after losing in the 3rd round what were most impressive though.

    Robbo is offside btw

so did they rule that out for offside? Or are we saying that 2 players pushing each other and one falling over is a foul now?

Disappointing that. Should have cruised that victory after first half.

Technically the "foul" happened first so should be that but it was offside anyway so irrelevant

If Everton's goal against us was fine then I don't see much problem with that one.

Anyway that game was a bit of a kick in the teeth really.

    It was fine.

We didn't bother ourselves. We had to know they'd have 5 or 10mins after ht to react. We came out not in the least bit bothered to work.

If Jones and szoboszlai and gravenberch tracked and did their job we would have established our control again.

Salah looks like he’s trying to get that assist record of 20/20. Every time got in a somewhat shooting position was looking to pass. Diaz should have finished the first half but after that just had nothing. Was running and looking to roll it off and all too predictable.

Meh. Should have got 4 or 5 in the 1st half, but the first 30 minutes after halftime were as ****e as we've been all season. But, credit to Arsenal. All that said, we can do without this Trent show. Shocked to hear an actual Liverpool crowd booing one of our players for any reason. And goes to prove what many of us were saying about winning the title by April - we were always going to struggle this May with a tough fixture list and, let's be honest, a team that hasn't played well since Newcastle at home. But, we won the league, so all is good. :emoticon-0138-think

In the end he missed 2 and scored 1. Basically mane level there. He gave a good shift for us.

Jones drifted in the game again. He's getting every chance to impress by slot.

But when we didn't come.out and bother ourselves in midfield we were on a hiding

We've won the league so it doesn't matter, but just taking this game in isolation:
First half wasn't great, but livened up by the goals - particularly the second.
Poor second half. Passing was pretty awful. It's never a good thing letting a team take the game to us all the time.
Partey could have had about four yellows.

Nah - no chance we'd have been this poor if there was anything at stake.

And if anything was at stake arsenal would have tried harder too.

We simply stopped playing once we wandered in at ht. In truth we stopped paying after about 35mins ans just sat off.

The attitude is why I say it's a big test for slot.

The senior players should be all over that dressing room at ht making sure the.side isn't sitting off.

But slot has to be then demanding a lot more.

The last two games we have simply not shown that mindset. Maybe it's only 5% and maybe it's not realistic to demand that in what is now a meaningless game but this is really what separates hungry sides from others.

To be honest hunger was questioned in 2021 as well.
