I've got to be happy. We got the result we really needed. Yes, we were pants in the second half, but we defended well enough. Pope saved everything they got on target. Hope Livramento's knee is OK. Our midfield had a poor game. Barnes particularly so, but Gordon wasn't much better. Maybe if Joelinton was in there we'd have smashed them in the middle. Isak isn't playing well at all. But the three points are banked, and that is so relieving.
Mo stay this. Tonali was brilliant first half. Second half disappointment. Isak is worrying me. He seems disinterested. Has his head been turned. Liverpool are sniffing
Yeah, he's looked a shadow of his previous self lately. Perhaps playing through a minor injury, perhaps not enjoying having Barnes alongside, rather than Gordon.
One win and we have champions league next year. Even a draw may even be enough (it would require two of the three teams below us to win all their remaining games for us to then finish outside the top 5). The point away to Brighton last week was huge, otherwise we'd be needing to get a result away to Arsenal to ensure top 5 was still entirely in our control going into the last game.
