Lucky bastards. Was expecting them to win today tbh next week against Arsenal will be a massive game. City will win their 2 remaining games and Villa have to play both United and Spurs either side of their Europa final so they’ll be heavily rotated I’d imagine. Villa goal difference will be what lets them down.
Knew there was an incident recently with a similar elbow but couldn’t for the life of me think of it.. Mings yesterday against Bournemouth. Actually fractured Alex Scott’s jaw and didn’t get a red lol
The other way to look at it is that a last 16/QF Champions League exit is better than them winning the Europa League.
I didn't see it mate, so can't really comment on it. When Jackson smacked Botman I initailly didn't think much about it...it was only when I saw the replay.... He made eye contact with Botman and knew exactly what he was doing, it was a cynical challenge...IMO His lack of protest when the ref looked at the monitor told me he knew what was coming. Where I agree with you...VAR is crap. I liked it when a ref's decision was final...you win some you lose some.. I hate the delay in the match, I hate players can't celebrate a goal anymore... I also think that VAR will ultimately be all over the pitch soon and not used for what it is right now
Barca 1 - 2 Real Madrid after 19 mins. It’s on Viaplay. The picture quality is superb. Never seen anything this good before. If this is the future, I’m all for it.
