Pleased for Rovers, I’m not a supporter, but always want them to win due to my dislike of the 100 Hull FC - Liverpool fans I know
Over 20,000 I think mate. As far as who i'd like, anybody really, it's a final, anything can happen. I'd have loved it to be FC.
Rovers have only lost 3 matches since July 2024. Pretty impressive. Those 3 losses? Wigan, Wigan and Wigan.
À I got the link as I was driving back last night, by the time I arrived home over 2 hours later most of the lower bowl behind the posts had gone - I managed to book four tickets on level 2 behind the posts - this morning you can only book the top level, a few in the corners and a few at the half way line - thousands have gone already - there's a huge interest in the city at the moment - the 3700 tickets for the Hull cup clash sold out in 10 minutes

Rovers booked their place in a second cup final in three seasons thanks to a very impressive 36-12 win over Catalans Dragons at York’s LNER Community Stadium. It is the third major final Rovers have been involved in since the beginning of the 2023 season, but any notion of that becoming habitual for their supporters appears to have been dispelled within hours of tickets going on sale. That is because the Robins confirmed on Saturday evening – not even 12 hours after their triumph – that over 10,000 tickets had already been snapped up by supporters.
Saw the game yesterday and I thought a lot of the tackles seemed to be led by the head and a few high tackles just seemed to be ignored. 1st league game I've seen in years but thought a lot of it had it happened in a union game would have been flagged up.
Should be an interesting final, on paper it should be a routine Rovers win. But they’ve bottled the finals they’ve had recently, whilst Warrington on their day can play some good rugby. Don’t worry about tickets, there’ll be 20k empty seats, that’s not a dig on either clubs fan base, it would be the same whoever played. The Wembley final just doesn’t have the same draw it used to.
Think it's since Magic Weekend started wasn't it? I know my mates who used to go every year (I went for over 20yrs with 'em) don't go now, they go to Magic instead. They used to be great weekends the Wembley ones, a lot of those weekend have been wiped from my memory.
In recent finals they have been beaten by Wigan, Leeds and Leigh. Leigh being the only team that you could argue they should have beaten. Getting beat by Wigan and Leeds ( when they were good) is hardly bottling it.
Not finding touch against Leigh at the death was very strange and would probably have set up a drive to win with the extra point. Went for way to much distance . Rovers by 14 in the Final .
