Yeah they shouldn’t really be making light of it. Shouldn’t even mention it. Everyone at the club, top to bottom, should hang their heads in shame.

 

Completely agree that the only saving grace is we are saved from such a conversation. However, there is nothing to "celebrate' about yesterday in my opinion. This season was written off for me many months ago, and I cannot wait for it to be over. Whether SR has resolved their inadequacys as an owner will play out over the Summer, is my primary interest. I have my doubts about that, time will no doubt tell.

The thing to celebrate about yesterday is that listening to Adam & Joe’s commentary they commended the fight and spirit of the team Some of these players will still be with us next season, so it’s good to know they’ve got that in them

 

Just goes to prove that a team that wins all the time builds a fragile fan base with no character (Blub Blub)

Yeah I said it was apparently 2 in 47 prior to yesterday.

 

One of the most noticeable things about yesterday was how long it took to get away from the ground.

Made me realise that it's probably because it was the first time there was more than 20k there by full time

 

Strange, we sailed away yesterday - and didn’t leave early lol. Back home in Bompey by 6:10pm. Been getting home at 6:45-7pm most other games.

 

We found it much quicker than usual too. But the roads were particularly empty yesterday - even the journey in was very quiet.

Too damn right I stood up and cheered at the final whistle yesterday and applauded the efforts of our significantly weaker playing squad for getting a point.

 

To be honest even though the lack of anger at times has irritated me, my estimation of our fan base has gone right up this season.

All this ****e we have had to put up this season and we are still getting 30k, selling out the vast majority of aways and creating a great atmosphere for just our 12th point of the season.

Character that many fan groups wouldn’t have.

Modern City fans certainly don’t have it, some of their fans were calling for Pep’s head after the game

 

Agree. Nothing wrong with us the fans celebrating or doing whatever we what. We’re here for the long haul so not having “that conversation” will be great. As for the club getting involved, jeez, sooo embarrassing.

 

This result does beg the question would we have survived had Rusk been appointed post Martin until now.

 

No, we might have a few more points but I think it’s safe to say we still would’ve gone down comfortably. No way was this team would’ve reached 40 points which is what would be needed for survival this year

 

In my honest opinion, no chance, but we may have gained maybe a half a dozen more points with some 0-0 draws.
I have to say though that Juric is by far the worst Saints manager that I have ever seen.
