With Mayenda I cant quite put my finger on what makes him so threatening. He has all of the natural elements like strength and pace. But there is something more to his game. His goal last night was so calm. Some of the best strikers of years gone by talked about going cold in their thinking when a chance came. I think Mayenda saw the play he was going to execute once the pass was short. He had that coolness to do it. There is something really special about him and he still development ahead of him.

Did anyone see our owner KLD little goal celebration after the first one went in?

Wonder if they decided against showing him crowd-surfing after the second <laugh> <laugh>

With Jobe you can see he's massive and has a solid engine, keeps the ball well, drives forward, wins his duels - will be useful at a good level.

Rigg really technical and if he fills out can become a fantastic 8.

Mayenda is just such an unknown because he has immense physical attributes but his technical ability has improved at an insane rate.

I missed that but I'm recovering now on the train home after a brilliant night. Got to my hotel at 11:30 but it was past 1:30 before I fell asleep, so much adrenalin still coursing through me!
Woke up this morning with a big smile on my face which won't go away, think I scared a few southerners by smiling at them and saying what a great morning it was.
I said before the game that I wanted the lads to come out with fire in their bellies, they did and performed to the perfect tune chosen by RLB, all praise to him.
Everyone performed really well and gave their all but I have to mention Ballard, as many others have, a giant performance, reminded me of Dave Watson, imperious. Coventry should have learned after about the tenth attempt, that putting the ball high into our box would only result in yet another rise of the Ballard to clear, they didn't, deep joy!
The team, and subs were truly a team last night and everyone worked for each other (and us), and you could see their encouragement for each other every time a great tackle went in or a move paid off.
Gutted I can't be at the SOL on Tuesday, but last night will live long in my memory, whatever comes next, immense thanks to Smug for sorting my ticket.
See you RTB and everyone else at the Argyle before Wembley.
    Ha'way!

Is it greedy to ask for a little more control in midfield Tuesday. Don't want to rely on heroics so much at the back. Just for my nerves <laugh>

Hope we can nab an early goal. I'll take a clean sheet though <laugh>

I wouldn’t really class Mayenda as so so raw myself. He’s a bit raw for sure but all season mostly he’s our most dangerous player and almost always makes something happen when he’s on the ball.

Going to be a proper quality modern striker. Pace, power the lot

I think he’s pretty raw personally. Still has a lot to work on which is mental considering how quick he’s developed
