It's a shame he didn't get more contact on Haji and ruled him out for Tuesday.

    Tremendous last night.

Very hard for the team to suddenly snap into action after being suspended in fourth place for ever, like specimen in a jar of preserving fluid.

Coventry are a bloody good side and I liked the humility we showed in facing up to them. We'll need to do the same again almost, but we are well ahead of where I thought we'd be. As we are generally, fourth place with mostly last year's side is mental.

    Why not us?

Got the perfect recovery day today, wife's taken the kids out so it's just me, the dog and Forza Horizon/Oblivion on the PS5. Just need next door and their annoying kids to bugger off for peace and quiet in the garden.

And let's not forget 'this ex-player is nailed on to score' which hasn't happened once this season ...

... although Simms didn't have many chances to be fair <laugh>

Great result, Great fight, Great commitment, great desire and great composure from the strikers for there goals.

Show that fight commitment and desire again on Tuesday and barring a couple of flukes/worldies we are going to Wembley.

Everyone was a solid 8/10 except Balla3d who was a 10 he was an absolute ****ing warrior last night.

Also cheers to RTB another great thread and so pleased for you to be there and experience that last night. It's your reward for these threads over the season cheers mate.

Finally so pleased we didn't waste that performance last week against QPR.

    Sorry just couldn't resist.

Anyone know where I'll be able to watch the Sporting Lisbon V Benfica game?

"The Lisbon derby is one of the most fiercely contested in the world but Sporting and Benfica meet on Saturday with even more than usual at stake.

That's because the two sides are top of Liga Portugal, level on 78 points with two games of the season remaining.

If the two teams are level on points by the end of the season then head-to-head record will decide the title winner, meaning Saturday could well be the day that decides who will be champions.

    Everything to play for."

Really don’t know what RLB will do next. More of the same might be too predictable. Really wouldn’t be surprised with a different shape and a couple of changes with Watson or Mundle on the left.

I get this theory but think Mundle won’t play. If he’s not fit for Friday even on the bench I doubt he’s fit for Tuesday after so long out

I hope I don’t regret saying this but Simms couldn’t cope with the SoL atmosphere when he was on our side<laugh>

I won't be there Tuesday, but if I leave the windows open here in DL 15 I might just hear the roar.

That and one of ballards blocks early on were immense!

I don't think it was great on the eye or a relaxing watch for the Sunerland fan last night, but all that goes out the window when you win.

Would love to see us get at them for the 90 on Tuesday put them on the back foot, doubt they will be expecting it and crumble. Relaxing 3-0 win after being 2-0 inside the half hour.

Reality is we might have more of the same as last night, results are all that matters but it's a hard watch when games are like last night. No one gives a **** come the final whistle if we win but it's not the same as watching a dominant attacking display where a team wins comfortably. RLB seems to believe this is the way for us to play as most.ofnthe season has been like last might but less extreme and it's hard to argue given the way the season has gone!
