Their manager is a smart bloke. Define good. They get a certain crowd going for sure but it was a bit of a cult following. They’ve found a way to go more mainstream, albeit a route some would argue is kind of disgusting but there’s an audience for it but then there’s the trade-off any band makes when they get a bit beyond that cult following of whether they double down on what got them there or apologise for it because there are consequences for the choices they’ve made to achieve some level of fame. Can they rap though? Yeah they can. Is that bloke who looks 40+ poncing about in a balaclava cosplaying the IRA ridiculous? Also yes.
