I’m thick as **** and made plans for today in about November not considering the playoffs, thankfully I’m back for Tuesday

 

We battled and kept Coventry at arms length. They had their moments but Dan Ballard had an amazing game. We took the 2 goals brilliantly and I might be biased but we showed we are a good team.

 

We are a good team, sounds like we found that playoff switch, I think @FellTop was right get Lampard in a panic and you can do a job on him

 

On the flip side Clockie the criticism for the manager was over the top.....let the lad finish the job then people can judge him on that but not before it all plays out.

 

He sounded rattled in the post match interview.

Coventry have struggled against a low block this season. I think playing the way we did with 2 forwards was perfect.
If Mundle is fit I think he changes the set up, but tonight was ideal.
I would like to see us play a high block with a much more attacking approach. However playing that way we are susceptible to conceding.
Right now the main objective is not to lose. It was a nervous night but taking a win in to the second leg is more than I think most people expected.
It's down to Coventry to come at us in the second leg and hopefully that plays into our hands
