I would have taken 0-0 at halftime before kickoff.

    We are still in this.

I would be tempted to go Watson for Isidor and Le Fee in the middle

Coventry loads of possesion, lads seem to be sitting back hoping to keep them out and catch them on the break. So far they haven't had a chance and we haven't really made the most of the couple of chances to break!

I thought we might have shown more intent and certainly more composure… but somehow we managed to keep a clean sheet

They’ve had lots of the ball. Not really caused us any problems. We look fairly comfortable.

Had a couple of potential breakaways.

Oh and Hinchcliffe is a prick!

Defo. Little bit of composure needed, hopefully some gaps open up second half if they start taking risks.

It’s still frustrating to me to watch though it’s like watching Ipswich defend away at Man City. We are better than these imo, yes they’ve had their purple patch second half of the season but we were top drawer for the first 30 odd games. We shouldn’t be pinned our own box against Coventry of all teams.

RLB master plan is to sit back and hope Coventry get frustrated and we nick one on the break. Genius. The past 6 weeks have been worth the wait.

Too het up to check the posts on this thread I’m afraid but so far so good.

as the commentary have said we’ve had no clear cut chances but defended well. Need to convert that to some good posession in the second half.

    hawayyyy!

Coventry dominating possession with lots of balls into the box

lots of danger but no danger

we’ve had a couple of well worked set pieces but gifted it back a couple of times after we’ve won it

He’s gonna continue as is but for me I’d be looking to be 15 yards further up and want more of the ball.

gifting them the ball and allowing them to cross it whenever they want just screams danger

he’s playing the odds that nothing will come of it

Not enjoying this. Defending our box well, can definitely see why Ballard was picked. Neil and Jobe doing a good job on the edge of our box. Cirkin needs to be very careful.

Mayenda is the only attacking threat. Le Fee doing alright when he comes in field but Van Ewijk has too much pace for him. Isidor offering very little, if we aren't going to try and hit the channels for him to run i'd rather another midfielder or winger on. Roberts done well to get to the byline early on and I thought that was a sign of things to come. How wrong was I, that 'pass' for the overlap after the freekick was embarrassing.

Solid defensive performance so far imo. Got to be better without decision making on the counter though. Hopefully we tire these out soon and can start putting the pacers on!

Just need to be better with the ball and those key passes.

happy with that so far, cant see what Roberts brings to the game , for automatic starters Roberts and Cirkin are not up to it , we need competition for those two in particular, Ballard has been outstanding as has Mayenda,

Solid work from the defensive unit especially the CBs with Neil and Jobe chipping in very well. Need to make better use of the ball higher up the pitch, passing has been poor. Snatching at chances and panicky.

Good overall though. I wouldn't mind seeing a more aggressive press on the defence, we've got two fast strikers but we're not putting much pressure on.

Also happy with that. We need to come out very switched on and do a bit more with speeding up moving the ball in attack.

Roberts good tracking but poor in attack. Wonder if we see some subs and Watson coming on with his pace after 70

Well, I'm glad the Sky Sports Pundits are neutral.

And some of the supporters we have on here.

Are they all banned from the SMB?

    **** Watson.

I’d certainly change the shape, not the players.

Maybe push Wilson wide left and allow Enzo central that way.
