I'm first in the queue for the zip line from L7 onto the pitch. Apologies in advance if it breaks before anyone else gets a go.
Three games to go and it could be a 6 teams vying for 4 spaces and likely separated by 4 points going into the last two games. Arsenal lose vs Liverpool - 67 points City win vs Southampton - 67 points Chelsea or NUFC win - 63/64/66 points Forest win vs Leicester - 64 points Villa win vs Bournemouth - 63 points Going to be so tight for the run in going forwards. Really need Bournemouth to pull it out the bag vs Villa and a point vs Chelsea (minimum) would be an (realistically) ideal weekend.
Don’t worry, I guarantee you won’t break it. No, you’ll bring down the stadium before you even get to the zip line.
Arteta is actually embarrassing, I get he was “joking” but his comment that they could’ve won two PL titles because they bettered Liverpools tallly (not even true yet) then the idea they were better than PSG is farcical.
He was technically correct. Liverpool won the league this year by reaching 82points. Arsenal got higher than that in the last two seasons. What he failed to point out was that the only reason Liverpool won it with 82points was that Arsenal and the rest of us weren't good enough to stay within 12pts with 4games left. Sounded like an off-the-cuff remark but I bet he had a team of lawyers reviewing it for days in advance.
He’s still a knob. Watched a video of him talking about Edison inventing light bulbs to the Arsenal team. Just cringe.
Can we all just agree that he’s a knob. He’s embarrassing Arsenal football club and making false accusations which are completely irrelevant. The man is a complete prick.
He probably thinks it was the Man City goalkeeper. He wants his players to do something equally as inspirational.
Seriously he held a lightbulb then pulled a cable out of his bag and said something about the bulb being useless without electricity. If I’m a pro footballer I’m looking at him thinking what a dickhead.
2 teams from 5 of the current top 7 are not gonna secure a CL spot next season. Imagine being one of those teams (I sincerely hope to god it’s not us) knowing that either one of Man U or Spurs are gonna be playing CL football next season! Neither deserve it as it’s a ****ing joke that the winner of the Europa League gets a CL spot in the first place but please god let it be Spurs!
See I don't think it's a bad idea that the champion of EL get's into the CL, I just think that the EL has changed so much now that the new format is in with the CL teams not dropping down into it, that it's going to take a while to get used to it. Let's be honest, the PL probably has the strongest strength in depth due to the money in it so I would expect English clubs to be dominating the EL & ECL for a while until they change it again to even it out. I would say however that the drop off of Spurs and Man U this season has been seismic, I doubt any of us would have expected at the start of the season for either of those 2 teams to be that far down the league. Usually I would expect the teams in the EL to be in the top half. I wouldn't begrudge a Fulham, if they won the EL, getting into the CL.
Agreed, I think it's only left a bad taste because of the finalists and how poor they've been. Ultimately I prefer it - no CL teams stinking it up, and a nice little backdoor for the CL. Gutted it'll be one of those two, but that's not their fault. I mean how the **** Bodo/Glimt got to a major European semi final is baffling.
Just the wonders.of cup football on a plastic pitch. Suspect some rotation as teams were only coming up against that little team from the arctic circle. Add in complacency and all of a sudden you lose to a team you shouldn't
