Some of the questions were so dumb he honestly thought "**** it" and had some fun

Probably suggests that he knows he's going this summer one way or another

    Dear Alanis Morissette,

Is it just coincidence that today is Victory in Europe Day?

Euro Semi-Final Second Leg, Thursday 08 May 2025

Couldn’t resist the temptation to post a song for the occasion today.
Surely we can’t rain on our own parade? Not this time!
Come on Ange, get them sorted and take us to Bilbao!
I hope The Platters will help!

Angie, you can put this season right
Angie, you can plan a win tonight.
Though we’ve got the tie half won,
There’s still a job to do do
And Angie I believe you’ll take us through.

Oh, Angie, you can plan this victory!
Pedro, you, and your pal Destiny -
In that far foreign land -
    You’ll understand
The way to get us through -
Make our dreams come true, ’cos Tottnam we love you

Oh-oh, Angie you can plan this victory -
Pedro, you, and your pal Destiny -
    In that far foreign land,
    Just as was planned -
You’ll score to get us through -
Make our dreams come true, ’cos Tottnam we love you!
    (Tottnam we love you!)

    Prediction: Bodø 0 Spurs 2
    Scorers: Porro, Udogie

Just saying, Spurs, I am planning on outliving Donald Trump

So no repeats of the first 45 minutes of our last European semi final eh...?

If we start like we started in Amsterdam again tonight then I doubt that this team will have capability to come back, but if Brennan fancies going full Lucas Moura tonight we won't complain!

Local fans apparently set off fireworks outside the team hotel at 2.30 last night to disturb the players.
Likely to backfire, cos the town is so small they probably woke the entire population - and anyway, our lot would still be out clubbing til gone 4...<laugh>

That's a very experienced starting 11 and you would hope there would be enough out there to get a result.

    But this is Spurs....<laugh>

That’s probably the team I’d have picked, arguments for Tel over Richarlison but the latter started the first 25-30 mins of the last leg really well.

Into these mugs from the off please, lads.

If that starting XI, under the control of the manager,
cannot get the job done today, both should have
their desks ready to be easily cleared.

I don't like starting Richarlison and Solanke because it leaves us with no striker on the bench.
Tel just isn't that player in this system and Scarlett's supposedly injured.

Like you say though, we need to start strong and well, like we did last week.
