VE Day would’ve been Victory for Germany Day if our brave men and women had the surrender monkey attitude of some on here.
****in hell we were guaranteed our play off spot pretty much with 3 months to spare and any permutation of the regular starters got us there. ****in Coventry won’t know what’s hit them tomorrow night.

 

Clubs doing a great job in the lead up to this, call me deluded but I keep getting waves and waves of confidence that we’re going to do it

 

You can see the nerves setting in on their forum, after all the bravado …

… I think they’ve just remembered they had three vital matches recently, against Hull, Luton and Plymouth when they only managed a draw.

Their players have all the pressure of their biggest ever crowd …

… we love the big games.

 

Neil is very confident at the end about respecting cov as a good team but not too much as we were pushing top two for a reason and to respect our ability too.

 

Not sure if it's just me, but I have that weird gut feeling I had in League One, that we are going to do it.

Maybe Browne comes into midfield for Rigg to go on the right?

Rigg essentially plays as the second striker out of possession on the right hand side so it may be as simple as that

 

Yeah definitely, just thought was worth mentioning. For the 7 aside games that one seemed the strongest by a long way:

I think they'll be training with different tactics/tweaks in mind. Starting the game with x players, making subs and switching players around i.e. ELF starting on the left then moving inside, Mayenda coming on on the left or up top, Watson on the left or right etc. Get the players comfortable playing in a few positions in that same formation and we can be ready for any eventuality.

And Mayenda can actually head a ball, so gives us an option in the air too.

Play the players in their natural positions.

Most important pick on the team is Le Fee in the middle.
Watson (or Wilson) on LW.
