Exactly. They have just got really negative. 2 years ago they went toe to tow with everyone, scored loads but city beat them twice and caught them. Last year was it thst they drew with city then got negative as well to do it and I think it's really stemmed from that dropping of a big lead that he decided thry have to be more physical. At this point I think tjry have peaked under srteta even though the squad is quite young generally. He's gone after a lot of defenders and it's all unbalanced. Thier two sticking options are a right winger who is injured all thr time and a 10 who is a tall lad but also injured. Never a 9. Not in a million years. I firmly beleive havertz is the equivalent of man utd buying moyes felliani. Lump it at the big man is now what they got I to. If you play psg and take a minute to get old.man partey to wonder over, wipe the ball then half arse a long throw (most were poor) then you are making it very easy on them.
Worrying thing is that despite their failings they still are consistent in being in the top placings . Suppose it's to be expected when the money they have spent but other sides need to up their game. Would be more entertaining to have 4 or 5 sides in the race until last few games however I wouldn't complain if Liverpool did what city did for the last 4 years in terms of winning the league also.
Chelsea United and spurs into finals then. how funny that one of United or spurs are going to have a better season than arsenal plus will have 6 English teams in CL
My ideal end of season is to have clubs where fans might actually enjoy the win get the trophy. Palace in the fa cup. Spurs in the europa. Anyone but Chelsea in the conference. We look like we will have a massive party for the league. Newcastle for this one time looked like long suffering fans on the best day of their lives. (They will be full blown beheaders and proud of it within 5 years imo) Palace have never won it and will go mad and it'll mean far more than a man cheaty fan shrug at a bad year. Utd fans have had recent success, spurs have not. Neither fan base seem happy at all so I can see both moaning after winning it. At least it might mean something to spurs fans. Chelsea don't deserve trophies.
All this does is dilute the points for next year over more **** clubs. Think about it. 6 in the cl means the available country points are spread out over that and not 4. If Newcastle forest and say spurs are making up the number samd all go out in 25th or lower then the real European clubs will struggle to make the deficit up. I actually think it will almost assure us that 5th cl spot will go to others next year.
with no clubs dropping from CL and Europa into the Europa and Conference the strength in depth of PL will almost certainly mean PL clubs go deep in both Europa and Conference which added to the CL points i reckon we will end up with 5 again .
Alonso leaving Leverskusen Pretty much confirms he's going to Real. Guess if he resigns then Real wont have to pay anything to get him, which would be classic Real.
Basically i don't ever want him near anfield now. He has a contract and commitment at leverkusen to 2026. The absolutely minimum expected is real pay some fee to get him out of it. Leverkusen don't have to scald them if they have a gentleman's agreement with alonso but him walking out saying bye bye and **** you isn't good enough.
