I would say who cares but then someone would come along and tell me all about some players, fans, their families, the hot dog sellers and the half and half scarf makers.
PSG have all the trappings of an elite team now. For years, they were chasing that status by having lots of superstars like a front three of Messi, Mbappé and Neymar but it never worked. They look a lot more balanced and coordinated now. Their current front three are so fluid it’s pointless arguing who starts on the left or the right. Kvaratskhelia could start on the left in theory but drift inside to the middle or even to the right and the striker fills in on the left. They do it all game and it’s remarkable the chemistry and understanding they have to do it. Makes defending against them incredibly hard and it’s impossible to man-mark them.
You have given your own answer. The Champions League has not fared very well for one particular big name star. They would not have knocked out Liverpool carrying a passenger. PSG totally different without Mbappe.
Even Man Utd would be a better option. I think clubs at the top end who really micro manage tactically are bad fits for him.
No no no Man U is a bad fit for any English player I want them to do well English players that is not Man U
I think Man Utd solve a lot of their issues if they start replacing players with talented, hungry and energetic prem players, the likes of Delap, Bowen and Gibbs-White.
