It's proper nonsense from him. Regardless of the fact that we'll beat the points tally that he's talking about with 3 wins the point is that it changes each season and it doesn't matter what your points are compared to anyone above you, they simply did better and deserved the win.
Frankly, I'd be embarrassed if Arteta was our manager with the **** he's spouting ... Van Nistelrooy seems a bit dim and says some daft things... Rodgers soundbites were positively cringey at times but he did bring us the FA Cup and two top 5 finishes ... but Ranieri was superb, different gravy, humble and dignified whether we were winning or losing, never failing to give the opposition credit, never blaming officials, and amusingly self-deprecating with his 'dilly-ding, dilly dong' nonsense...
Here's hoping the Arsenal fans have an amazing day in Paris - it's an incredible city ... ... and it's only a game, after all
In the right moment, in the right place...so he recognises that fate has made him one of lifes losers, and with all his negative vibes I'm not surprised. You can watch Liverpool and think winner, you can feel the positivity, I never feel any of that with Arsenal then I see that package that has been passed around from club to club on the bench that says return to sender. For Arteta it's Groundhog Day every season, they are like Newcastle the Mickey Mouse Cup outfits, that try but never peak. See we can all chat ****.
I remember when we were doing **** under John Carver and he proudly proceeded to say in an interview he thought he was "the best manager in the Premier League", or Joe Kinnear going on a swearing ramage to the press ....and don't get me started with the ****e Alan Pardew used to spout. It all makes Keegan's "I'd LOVE it!" rant seems positively sane.
I know you support Spurs so it's enjoyable to ridicule Arsenal. But what he said in that statement is objectively true. I suspect you know that and are just trying to get fellow Arsenal haters to jump in on the WUM.
It's isn't true though. He says in the previous 2 seasons Arsenal got more points than Liverpool have won the title with, that's true, just a bit whiney to be pointing that out. However he then says "with the points from the last 2 seasons we have 2 premier league titles". That's not true, he doesn't have any titles.
I usually don’t care about your staff or managers but I always hated Carver. Always thought he was in jobs way above his station. That was funny, though
