yeah…not sure how accurate the home ones are or how expensive but there’s a business one near I live at Chelsea creek & it’s fantastic. Very very accurate & you can tinker with weather variables. It knows when you make a bad shot!

very very accurate. I have a few friends who are semi pro male & female who play off scratch & use it a lot. The bar is always busy too!!
Edit just asked- within 3cm on each shot in terms of accuracy

Think those simulators for ‘home are anything from £1500 - £3 or 4K !
If I had a high enough garage I’d have one for the winter.

Grandkids do lessons so thought might as well get one for garden so they can practice while their parents pop out wherever plus means I get to see them more and my kids play to anyway so it’s good for them all.

I can’t play but would be tempted to have a sneaky go when no one is around :).

I've no experience of them but as I understand it you need a screen to hit at, a simulator and some software. Screen and simulator will be once-off costs. Software worth having is likely to carry a recurring annual license charge. Just thought it worth mentioning that.

Thanks Plum I am trying to find a complete set up so I don’t have to try find all separate parts as I know nothing about them.

Can’t believe I’m saying this but it might be worth joining a Golf Simulator Facebook group?
It’ll give you a direct way to ask people who’ve already put one in questions

I don’t use those type of social media only one thing I use is this forum, I hate the rest just full of idiots.

Usually someone on this forum can help with advice on most things in some way to.

A very cheap way is Phigolf. Pick up a swing stick on EBay for less than £100 then you can allegedly play any course in the world. It works ok with the swingstick (mirrored eg from your smartphone to a smart tv) but theoretically should also work with real clubs by putting the sensor in the hole at the end of the grip. I bought a fake turf mat and tees to enable this, but found the sensor tended to come out of the clubs v easily thus rendering it useless. It works fine with the swingstick, and I enjoyed playing Beverley Westwood virtually, but really is then little more than a computer game.

    Fair enough.
I do tend to agree, but just thought I’d mention the option.

Cheers Den found a few sites on google so emailed them but always wary as they will always say their stuff is best hence why I asked on here, but have also text son to ask if he can look on those Facebook type ones you mentioned so all advice is very welcome :emoticon-0148-yes:.

Also saw those garden building ones but her indoors would go mental if one of those turned up at those prices, she don’t know I am getting one yet lol.
