Ancient history mate, the Islamic Caliphate now runs the world from a control centre outside Leicester
Fair enough. This is the information age, when we all have access to whatever the algorithms tell us is the truth.
It's the oldest Hebrew-print newspaper in Israel. While I don't agree with most of its editorial stances, it is an important voice of left-wing, liberal and anti-govt politics in a country that is increasingly drifting to the right. The fact Netanyahu keeps trying to censor it is more than enough reason for me to want to keep it running, even though I personally sit more centrally than its stance. As for lying, the entire mainstream media does that every day, left, right and center.
Well that’s debatable mate because I believe everything that my news sources are telling me is the truth, if it’s what I want to hear, especially.
Yep I agree, there will be a range of issues that will prevent reservists from wanting to go back to war, and a mixture of reasons too. Like you say, lots of these people have lost their jobs as a result, been made to spend time away from families, studies etc and whilst many of them heeded the call the first time, believing that they were doing something good for their country, a lot of them are now seeing that this war has not achieved any of the aims it was supposed to set out to deliver, has left Israel in a worse state of security and has no defined conclusion to it. In short its a futile war that is costing tens of thousands of Palestinian lives and not achieving anything for ordinary Israelis
One of many tweets on Twitter about it, I've no way of verfying this **** and don't endorse the words used...
Fwiw, I think this is one of them cases where India had to do something after the terrorist attack. They’ve apparently kept well away from civilians and military targets. I don’t think it will escalate to all out war.
It's insane to see the levels of military and GDP growth over the last 20 years and how fast India has overtaken Pakistan. The Pakistani military won't stand a chance.
I think India might struggle with a ground invasion. Pakistan one of them countries where home advantage is a big deal with all the hills and caves that they’ll know inside out.
I wasn't talking about blitzkreig levels of invasion and occupation like i meant the "throwing **** at each other" level of conflict
